Hello friends!

We are quickly catching the end of 2024 and embarking on 2025. What a year, woof….

Our 2024 journey started in Whistler, BC and will end in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. We have travelled from the north point to the south point. Both points hug the west coast, showcasing the beauty of the mountains and Pacific Ocean.

By the end of 2024 we will have travelled to 9 countries, 19 states and 7 provinces. East coast Canada will complete our Canadian journey. Thinking September 2025.

The middle of the calendar year bookends was eventful too. Three months in Whistler expanded to Edmonton for the Stanley cup finals and Calgary for the Stampede. We experienced the cold lake water, the snow in the mountain tops and the rain in between. Met people, shared laughs, created memories.

Do you reflect on the past year as you move through the holiday season and into a new year? Do you plan for the year ahead? East coast Canada in 2025, sound familiar.

Check the list of goals you made in January. Was 2024 a success? Did you stick to your 2024 new year’s resolutions? Will you simply change the year 2024 2025?

Every day is a week in a dog’s life. Would it change the way you live your life if every day was a week in your life?

Miller celebrated his 9th birthday last week (December 10th), marking his 8th year with Mom & Dad. I will be seven on January 30th.

In reflection, we have traveled to many places. We met people and scared wildlife. Sorry, chickens, squirrels, and iguanas. We made amazing adventures. Stayed in beautiful places, not so beautiful places and places in between. We’ve flown high in the sky with the birds. We’ve taken road trips squished together in the backseat. We pack enough for an army but somehow manage to make it all fit. Yes, Mom, we can wedge another pair of shoes under the seat.

We lived and learned many things in the past. We also planned and prepared for the future.

But the best part of the years we spent together start and end there. It’s being together.

We wish for your life to be filled with the lives you love. Four legged, two legged, one legged, it doesn’t matter. Be present. Live like every day is a week in your life.

Love always, Miller & Modela
